The Filipino Student Association of the University of Miami went caroling around Miami the weekend of December 4 and 5, 2017, to raise funds for the children of Gawad Kalinga in the Philippines. The students raised over $450 for the Kusina ng Kalinga, or KnK (“Care Kitchens”) feeding program, which feeds over 20,000 children everyday through 12 kitchens located throughout the Philippines.

The students raised enough to feed around 1,225 kids for one day, or four kids for one year. To view the post from GK Miami about the University of Miami’s caroling fundraiser, click here: https://www.facebook.com/gkmiami/videos/2199022296789832/
