WHO WE ARE
GK1 World Foundation, collectively known as Gawad Kalinga USA is the lead partner organization of the Gawad Kalinga Global Community and its mission partners in creating a sustainable template to end poverty.
Gawad Kalinga USA aims to uplift the Philippines as a nation; to build a country full of hope. We envision a nation made up of sharing and caring communities dedicated to eradicating poverty and restoring human dignity.
IMPACT
Gawad Kalinga USA has significantly contributed to building 3,000 cohesive communities across the Philippines. Over 5,000 local leaders work in solidarity with poor communities, volunteers, local government units and private institutions.
These communities allow us to listen to their most pressing concerns and inform us how to best respond to their needs.

GK and GK USA share the desire and mission to ensure that the journey that started with providing land and homes will culminate with families getting out of poverty by enabling mechanisms to trigger economic productivity to catapult families towards sustained and transformative income streams.
